Stärke Material Handling Group is proud to announce
that George Hartford; the owner of Hartford’s Forklift in Auburn, Maine, is going to be
spending some time behind bars. Why would they be proud of that, and what did
he do to end up jail? He’s helping to defeat a life-threatening muscular
disease by participating in the Muscular Dystrophy Lock-up!
This is a donation
inspired event in which Hartford’s Forklifthas full support from Stärke. Stärke has also offered an additional challenge to
George, assuring more donations for this great cause from Hartford’s equipment
supplier. That challenge states that with each new product purchase Hartford’s
Forklift acquires, Stärke will increase their initial donation.
The MDA Lock-up takes place on March 5th, 2015 which will fund
treatments and cures, provide life-enhancing programs in state-of-the-art
clinics and support groups, and send kids with muscle disease to the MDA summer
camp, where they will enjoy ‘the best week of the year’, having fun while
gaining confidence, independence and new friends.
George’s own company
has donated and is receiving help through Stärke, but he’d be thrilled to
receive your support too.
Please support him in this important mission by making a tax-deductible donation. Your gift will speed MDA’s progress in
muscle disease research and care, and make a difference to children and adults
living with muscle disease in the Lewiston/Auburn area.
Don’t
hesitate to contact or email George if you have any questions concerning how
this donation works and how it will be used
